But an exclusive report in The Times suggests the deal could happen.The report claims the former Argentina international wants to be considered for the role as he sees the opportunity as too good to turn down.3

However, it would cost United 34million to bring him to Old Trafford, making the total cost of replacing Mourinho past 50million, with the Portuguese set to receive a huge severance package.Pochettino signed a new contract with Tottenham earlier this year after speculation linking him with the Real Madrid job. Although he does not have a release clause instilled in his contract,the only way United can sign the Argentinian is to buy him out of his current contract worth 8.5m per year.The 46-year-old has a great relationship with chairman Daniel Levy and enjoys working with the young players Tottenham are regularly producing.However, the possibility of moving on after four-and-a-half years in north London is clearly not out of the question.3

The business we know very well. A lot of rumours happen but it is not my business what happened at another club.
