Hudson-Odoi enjoyed a brilliant international break with the Three Lions squad, playing and impressing in both of Englands Euro 2020 qualifying wins over Czech Republic and Montenegro – against whom he made his full debut.Yet, the 18-year-old was left on the bench for Chelseas clash at Cardiff – a controversial 2-1 win for the Blues – and he remains without a Premier League start to his name. Ahead of Sundays game, Sarri even admitted he didnt pay full attention to the youngsters games for England.[I watched] only 20 minutes because I had 14 players in the internationals so I didn’t have time to watch 20 matches, said the Italian.He [Hudson-Odoi] didn’t start very well on the right but did very well on the left.3

This didnt impress Cascarino, who saidon Mondays Sports Breakfast: Weve heard of how Marcelo Bielsa is so thorough in everything he does, youd think as a club manager youd be all over how your players did when they were sent away.Youd want to know how they got on, youd want to see their performance, even if you had to watch it a day later.To come out and blatantly say, I dont really know how he did, its just not on!

I dont get it, you should be watching over all your players when theyre away on international duty!Its unprofessional. Youre not doing your job if youre not watching your players.I just find it strange to admit you didnt see him.This is a young lad of 18 who had been sent away on international duty and given an opportunity to make his debut and youre not watching to see how he got on?If youre saying something like that, thats being unprofessional in your job as a manager.3

Chelsea needed two late goals to overcome relegation-threatened Cardiff on Sunday, and Blues fans sang anti-Sarri chants throughout the match.And, asked if the boss will stay at the club this summer, Cascarino added: No chance, I cant see it.The fans are frustrated and they are pointing the finger at Sarri because they believe he is under achieving, which I would agree with.Hes got a hell of a talented squad.
