We need the VAR right now.”4

Allardyce agrees, although the former West Ham, Crystal Palace, Newcastle and Everton boss admits its more likely teams will have wait until next season for VAR to come into force.Id agree with VAR coming in this season, he told Mondays Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast.I watch the Premier League as a neutral now and I see far too many mistakes still happening from the officials.This weekend was littered with mistakes from the referees and assistants, they are making too many basic errors and VAR would put that right very quickly.4

I think its probably too late for this season to introduce it half way through, I think we have to just grin and bare it this year.But next season, as long as theyre well trained and ready for it, VAR would be a big asset for everybody.
