Timothy Weah gave Kilmarnock players a taste of their own medicine with his full-time celebrations after Celtics late win.Scott Brown scored an injury-time winner in a 1-0 victory to move Brendan Rodgers men eight points clear of second-placed Rangers.

Brown was shown a second yellow card for excessive celebration, while Weah, a 77th-minute substitute, was cautioned for taunting Kilmarnock stars at full-time.The USA striker, who joined Celtic on loan from Paris Saint-Germain last month, took to Instagram to explain his actions.1

Before deleting the post, the 18-year-old said: “In regards to my yellow card I just want to say sorry to any Killie fans that were offended and who took it the wrong way.“But with all that being said, I was targeted by three players from the moment I stepped on the pitch.“Go back and look at all the cheap shots that were taken and the trash talking as well. “To be honest I understand it’s all part of the game.
