“Manchester United announces that current caretaker manager and former striker, Ole Gunnar Solskjr, has been appointed as the clubs full-time manager on a three-year contract,” a statement read.Solskjaer was appointed to the interim role last December following the club’s decision to dismiss Jose Mourinho, and he won his first eight matches in charge and claimed a total 14 victories and two draws in just 19 games.
