However, Jurgen Klopp has at least been handed the boost that Nathaniel Clyne could return from injury to take Alexander-Arnolds place against United.Rumours this week had claimed Alexander-Arnold would miss Sundays game at Anfield after he was spotted wearing a protective boot following the Napoli win.Manager Klopp said during his pre-match press conference on Friday that Liverpool are taking the 20-year-old ankle problem day by day.The club said he would be assessed ahead of the United clash, but it widely accepted he will miss out and could still be absent for Fridays visit to Wolves.3
