Manchester United have made ‘ready’ a nine-figure sum as they prepare to bid for Kalidou Koulibaly and Joao Cancelo this summer, according to reports.Koulibaly, the Napoli centre-half, and Juventus’ full-back Cancelo top the Red Devils’ transfer shortlist, with Tuttomercatoweb stating the pair will be targeted whoever is appointed United’s manager on a permanent basis this summer.2

Cancelo plays for Juventus having signed for the Serie A giants last summer

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is favourite to take the position after excelling as the club’s caretaker manager, though others such as Mauricio Pochettino, Zinedine Zidane and Massimiliano Allegri have also been named as potential successors for Jose Mourinho.With Koulibaly and Cancelo identified as summer targets, it is reported United have already prepared the money required to bid for the pair. Cancelo will cost the Red Devils around 52million (60m) while the fee for Kouliably almost hits the 95million (110m) mark; in total, United have readied 146millon (170m) to sign the defensive duo.Koulibaly has been known as a Manchester United target for quite some time now, with Jose Mourinho wanting the Senegal international while he was in charge the Red Devils.2
