Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is no tactical genius and appointing him as permanent Manchester United manager would be a disaster for the club, talkSPORT have been told.Solskjaer appears to have lifted the gloom which engulfed Old Trafford under Jose Mourinho and has got his stint as caretaker boss off to a flyer with successive victories in the Premier League, over Cardiff City and Huddersfield Town.The club legend was hired as Mourinhos replacement only until the rest of the season, with United looking to appoint their next boss in the summer.

The likes of Mauricio Pochettino, Zinedine Zidane and Massimiliano Allegri have been linked with the role, but former striker Solskjaer has been widely tipped as a contender if he proves a success as interim manager, while the man himself has admitted he would love the job.2
